Canine
Study overview
This observational study examines the skin microbiome in dogs with atopic dermatitis compared with healthy matched controls. Skin swab samples will be collected during routine clinic visits and analysed using 16S rRNA sequencing. The goal is to identify microbial signatures associated with disease severity and treatment response, which may inform future targeted therapies. The study does not alter standard dermatological care.
